Coaching
As part of NSWPA’s commitment to improve the quality of NSW players and increase participation in this great sport, the NSWPA has created the position of a NSW State Professional.
The coaches will, from time to time, run free coaching clinics throughout NSW polo clubs for registered players.
They are also available to the general NSW polo population for individual and group coaching at the expense of individuals on a fee for service basis.
Junior Polo for children is regularly held at Town & Country Polo Club in the Hawkesbury. Contact Adam Buchert on 0409-668770 or abuchertpolo@gmail.com.

Senior Coach/Professional: Andrew Williams
Andrew has held coaching clinics, including children’s coaching, at Jemalong Polo Club, Folly Lodge Polo Club, Strathalbyn Polo Club (SA) and in Iran. Andrew can instruct on rules and umpiring as well.
Andrew has been a professional polo player for 18 years, has represented Australia on numerous occasions and currently plays off a handicap of 5 goals. He is married with 3 children.

Coach/Professional: Robert Ballard
Rob is a 4 goal player who has represented Australia on several occasions. He has been playing polo since aged 12 and been a professional for 13 years. He lives in Richmond with his partner Sarah.

Coach/Professional: Adam Meally
Adam started playing polo at the age of 14 and has worked for various high profile Australian players like Jim McGinley (8 Goals) and Derek Reid (6 goals) prior to establishing Riverlands Polo Club in 2003. Adam sits on the Board of the NSW Polo Association and is one of 7 NSW polo handicappers. Adam is a 3 goal player and has played in countries such as the UK, Italy, Poland and South Africa, he has played in up to 22 goal polo tournaments.
