Equitation Science Conference Sydney 12-14 July 2009

Media releaseThe International Society for Equitation Science will hold their conference in Sydney 12-14th July this year. This will be the 5th conference with previous venues including Melbourne, Milan, Michigan and Dublin.
Registration is now open for this opportunity to hear the latest equestrian research findings as well as identifying possible future projects.
The theme of this years conference is Ethical Equitation - a sustainable approach. The Conference will cover a variety of topics with a focus on the theme of ethical equitation and the development of a sustainable approach to horse training and the use of horses for leisure, at work and in competition.
This conference will be a great opportunity for scientists and horse riders, trainers and coaches to meet and share their knowledge and experience.
As well as research reports there will be a practical workshop on day 2 to include presentations by well-respected horsemen and women with international success in their field of equestrian performance.
Participants may be able to claim professional development or continuing education credits for attending the conference.
