AUSTRALIAN COLTS WIN ALL 3 NZ TOUR MATCHES

Congratulations to the Australian Colts Team who won all three of their matches whilst on tour in NZ, beating the South Island Colts on 2nd February, New Zealand Colts on 4th February at Wanstead and a 5 v 8 Victory over the NZ Colts at Kihi Kihi New Zealand International Day on 12th February.
Well done to all the team - we are very proud of you.

AUSTRALIAN POLO COUNCIL CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
NZ 20g+ February 2011
The Australian Polo Council has been invited to send a representative team to compete for the Australasian Gold Cup in the New Zealand International Day at Kihikihi Polo Club, New Zealand. The match will be played at 20g or over level on February 12th 2011. The tour will depart Australia on 4th February playing regional sides whilst trying horses on the weekend of 5th/6th February, and departing New Zealand on 13th February after the test on the 12th. Airfares transport and accommodation will be provided for the team and coach/manager. Horses will be provided by local players.
The Australian Polo Council is calling for nominations from players 4g and above who wish to be considered for selection in the Australian representative team.
Nominations close Friday 7st January 2011 at 5pm AEDT.

NZ 4g - 6g Colts Tour – February 2011
The Australian Polo Council has been invited to send a representative colt’s team to New Zealand to compete in three matches the tour will depart on 1st February and return 13th February 2011. Airfares transport and accommodation will be provided. Horses will be provided by local players.
The proposed itinerary will be:
1st February 2011 – Arrive in Christchurch
2nd February 2011 – South Island Colts v AUS Colts venue TBC
3rd February 2011 – Travel to Napier Bay by air
4th February 2011 – NZ Colts v AUS Colts at Wanstead evening game
5th or 6th February 2011 – travel to Kihikihi
12th February 2011 – NZ Colts v AUS Colts match as curtain raiser for NZ v AUS 20g+ match NZ International Day Kihikihi
The Australian Polo Council is calling for nominations from players aged under 21 years at 1st December 2010 with a handicap of 0g -3g who wish to be considered for selection in the Australian representative team.
Nominations close Friday 7th January 2011 at 5pm AEDT.
