Expressions of Interest: ZAMBIA TOUR, 14 - 24 July 2011
To: Affiliated Australian Polo Clubs
The Australian Polo Council is seeking expressions of interest from Affiliated Clubs or Patrons who may be interested in sending a 14-18 goal team to Zambia in July 2011. The APC is unable to send a Representative team due to other International match commitments in Malaysia and South Africa, but would like to offer this as an opportunity for a private tour.
Zambia are proposing matches at Zambia International Day (14 – 18g) on July 15 16 17 and at the Mazabuka Open on 22 23 24 July. The team would play as a team in the International Open, then play with intra-national-mixed teams at the Mazabuka Open, where each would represent a team along with three other medium to higher goal players. The handicap for the Mazabuka Open is usually around 4-8 goals.
Horses, accommodation and a tour in between the two weekends (a choice of either visiting Victoria Falls or the Lower Zambezi for some Tiger fishing and game viewing) will be provided by the hosts Zambia Polo Association. Flights are not included.
