Two Australian Players in Young Commonwealth team, 28 July 2013
26 Jul 2013
England will play the United States for The Westchester Cup on Sunday, July 28th 2013 at the Guards Club, England. It is the oldest and most prestigious trophy in international polo. The rivalry started in 1886, which makes it older than tennis's Davis Cup by 14 years, and golf's Ryder cup by 40 years. The Westchester Cup has been contested 16 times, the US has won the cup 10 times but England has won the last two times in 1997 in England and 2009 in the US.
The curtain raiser to this match sees a Young Commonwealth team featuring Australians Rob Archibald and Alec White take on Young England.
